During this course participants live and work together. They will be staying overnight at Ardwhallan in bunkhouse accommodation and throughout the week participants will assist with a development project at Ardwhallan and take part in Adventurous activities, as well as planning and cooking their own meals.
There is a large emphasis on independence and self-reliance within the Duke of Edinburgh’s scheme. As such there will be certain times when groups will not be directly supervised. There will be no staff presence over night. Participants will be given emergency contact details for staff members.
