This is an exciting opportunity to paddle around some of the most stunning coastline the Island has to offer. We will meet at a pre-arranged coastal location at 6pm each week and finish at 8:30pm. This course is for school year 9+.
Our instructors have a great knowledge of the Manx coastline and will be able to take you into old smugglers caves and up close to some of the great wildlife the sea has to offer.
We intend to use a variety of craft depending on the conditions and aim of each session. These will include general-purpose kayaks, play boats and sea kayaks.
Due to the nature of paddling on the sea, weather will play a big part of the risk management process and on the spot changes may need to be made.
This could include a change in location. Should the weather be too rough we will retreat to Ardwhallan to do a skills session on the Reservoir.
6pm to 8:30pm every Wednesday from 12 June 2018 to 10 July 2019
