Summer Sailing

This is a practical course consisting of 2hr sessions, taking place Tuesday evenings throughout April, May and June during term time.

Using the selection of dinghies (single-handed and crew), we will harness the power of the wind and soon be racing each other around the lake. This is a great way to introduce beginners to the fun sport of sailing and for those who have been before we will carry on with the development of your skills and introduce new ones. Depending on your skill level we will work though the RYA’s Sailing Scheme.

This course is ideal for anyone working towards their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The Course Leaders are well qualified and are experienced. Your safety is always paramount. The course cost will cover use of equipment.
